This course takes an in depth look at Electrical Theory, Ladder Diagrams, and Troubleshooting with a focus on the skills and components specific to the Industrial Refrigeration Industry. We begin with Basic Electrical Theory, Ohms Law and methods for measuring current. Students will design, review and draw ladder diagrams, construct various circuits, trouble shoot components, and verify the components integrity using multi-meters and other basic electrical tools. At the end of this course students will understand electrical diagrams, control systems and components involved in a refrigeration system.
